Tuesday started bright at our peak district cottages but clouded up later in the day.  No cottages out but one in later in the day so a chance to get ready for friends arrival and do some accounts.  Chris and handyman carried on with outside work. The recent good weather has meant we have seen a number of balloons take off from Bakewell but the dogs were delighted when one came past the other morning as it followed Lathkill Dale and they could chase it!  Cottage arrived about 5pm and our friends not long after.  In the evening we went to the Bulls Head at Monyash and had a nice meal.  On Wednesday morning went down to Bakewell to get some provisions and after lunch went with friend to Chesterfield to get some extra roof insulation for one of the cottages as it is on special offer.  In the evening we went to Simply Thai in Buxton for a meal with our friends.  Phew!
