Saturday was another wet day at our Bolehill cottages near Bakewell (see here).  Three departures and one arrival and one cleaner here.  Took down the Christmas trees in the vacated cottages and also started to plan the jobs I need to do in the cottages over the next few weeks.  Cottage here just after 3pm, they have been before.  Mark came up from the Garden Tea Room with some sample cup cakes he wanted an opinion on.  Always happy to sample cakes!  Sunday was wet again.  Two departures but no arrivals and after collecting the paper I did a quick check on he vacated cottages before we having a quiet day, mainly spent on jobs around the house.  Monday was wet yet again and saw the last three new year cottages depart.  Some have already booked for next new year.  Spent most of the day taking down the rest of the Christmas trees and packing up the decorations for next year.  Chris commenced his regime of maintenance with odd jobs in Magpie.  The last of the cows are now in the barns for the rest of winter.  In the evening I went to indoor bowls at Over Haddon (I won!) and Chris went down to Bakewell for the Photographic Society meeting.
