A sunny and warm day and it stayed like that! Two cottages out of our peak district cottages this morning with one back in later so one cleaner up to clean both cottages. A lot of cow movement today with a lot of associated cow mooing! Chris helped out too. Took my friend to Dunelm and we both came back with a few bits. Due to road works we came back across country via Beeley and had to pass the Chatsworth Farm shop so stopped and bought some bits. Had lunch on the patio before guests arrived just after 3pm. Usual Friday afternoon of checking and preparing for Saturday. As it was a nice evening went down to the Lathkill Hotel for a drink and to enjoy the scenery. They start work on the Over Haddon well dressings tomorrow with the clay boards being brought out of the river to be petalled. Might even see if I can help out this year.
