Sometimes I forget to mention events until after I have closed the blog. Yesterday lunchtime as we sat having lunch on the patio (for once) a car came half way up the drive, stopped, passengers got out and took some pictures then proceeded to the car park. I went round to meet them and it transpired that on researching their family tree they had found that one of their ancestors had lived here in the early 1900’s. They gave me some information which I can add to our known history of Bolehill Farm. In the evening the series on Rivers showed some aspects of the area, in particular Chatsworth House, and earlier in the day the Country Tracks program was also based in the area. A few weeks ago the Countryfile program was from here too. Apart from that here are some pictures from Thornhill House a few weeks ago and a nice moonlit picture from our door.
